The route will be open to people who have a job offer from a\u00a0<b><u>\u201cScale-Up\u201d\u00a0<\/u><\/b><u>Company<\/u>.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><b>What is a \u201cScale-Up\u201d Company?<\/b><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">A Scale-Up company is one that;<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">a). Is registered with Companies House in the UK<br \/>\nb). Has experienced a 20%+ annual growth rate in turnover Or<br \/>\nc). Has accomplished a 20%+ annual growth rate in the numbers of their employees over the past three years.<br \/>\nd). The Company must have employed at least 10 employees at the beginning of the three-year period.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><b>How to find a Scale-Up Company?<\/b><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">You can visit; for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.scaleupinstitute.org.uk\/about\/tosearch\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Scale-Up Companies<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><b>What are the eligibility requirements for the Scale-Up Visa?<\/b><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The Secretary of State will be introducing detailed requirements for this category in due course. So far, limited information has been published on the eligibility criteria as follows:<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">1). There will be a basic qualification requirement to meet<br \/>\n2). There will be a salary threshold to be offered to the Applicant<br \/>\n3). Applicant\u2019s will need to prove their competence in the English language<br \/>\n4). A minimum level of education will be required<br \/>\n5). There is a likelihood that a financial maintenance requirements (as in the other PBS categories) will be required<br \/>\n6). The fundamental point of understanding is that the Scale-up visa is a sponsored work visa under the Points-based System.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><b>Will you be able to extend a Scale-Up Visa?<\/b><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Information published so far states that holders of the Scale-Up Visa will be able to extend this for a maximum duration of 5 years. The likelihood is that the applicant would need to initially apply for the Scale-up visa and look to extend this thereafter.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><b>Will you be qualified for settlement on basis of the Scale-Up Visa?<\/b><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Yes. After 5 years Applicant\u2019s become eligible to apply for settlement in the UK.
